How it works

The National Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Portal is a tool for promoting WIL opportunities to staff at universities across Australia.

Once you have entered and submitted the details, the information will be sent simultaneously to the institutions that best match according to your WIL opportunity.

Once this is received by the institutions, you will be contacted directly by them. The university representative will confirm and clarify the opportunity, and begin to mobilise their processes towards the outcome; the successful placement of students to work with your organisation.

Step 1 - Register your details

Employers and Host Organisations must first register their details, in order to upload Work Integrated Learning opportunities to the national WIL Portal. Once registered, simply login to advertise an opportunity.

If already a CareerHub Central client, there is no need to re-register. Just use your existing login details.

Step 2 - Advertise an opportunity

Enter the details of your opportunity, following the prompts on your screen. You can save your work and come back to it later, or click on “Publish” when you have finished entering your information.

What happens next?

The details of your opportunity will be forwarded to the appropriate Work Integrated Learning staff contacts, at institutions that match your selections. You will be contacted by a university staff member to discuss the details of your opportunity in more detail.
